    About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI and LLM Engineer to help shape how content is discovered, understood and surfaced by large language models and AI search platforms.

You will be instrumental in developing systems that maximise AI visibility for our clients while pushing the boundaries of what is possible in AI-native content optimisation.

    Key responsibilities

    AI systems development

    • Design systems that optimise content for consumption by LLMs including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity
    • Build and maintain APIs and integrations with major AI platforms and search engines
    • Develop automated tools that score AI-readability and discoverability
    • Create pipelines for structured data extraction, transformation and semantic enrichment

    LLM optimisation and research

    • Implement best practices for making content retrievable by RAG systems
    • Experiment with prompt engineering to understand how LLMs interpret and prioritise content
    • Monitor how content appears in AI-generated responses across platforms
    • Stay current with rapidly evolving LLM capabilities and search behaviours

    Technical implementation

    • Implement schema markup, metadata structures and knowledge graph integrations
    • Build tools for automated content structuring optimised for AI parsing
    • Develop monitoring for content citations and appearances in AI responses
    • Create dashboards and analytics for AI visibility metrics

    Collaboration and strategy

    • Work with content teams to translate AI requirements into actionable guidelines
    • Partner with data scientists on predictive models for AI visibility
    • Provide technical guidance on emerging AI platform requirements
    • Document best practices and technical specifications

    Required qualifications

    Technical skills

    • Strong programming proficiency in Python; JavaScript or TypeScript a plus
    • Deep understanding of LLM architectures: transformers, attention mechanisms, embeddings
    • Hands-on experience with the OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API or similar
    • NLP techniques: tokenization, semantic analysis, entity recognition, text embeddings
    • Vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate or Chroma, and semantic search
    • Familiarity with RAG systems and retrieval pipelines
    • Web technologies: HTML, CSS, REST APIs, GraphQL

    AI and ML background

    • 3+ years working with machine learning or NLP
    • Demonstrated experience fine-tuning or working with large language models
    • Understanding of transformer architectures and modern frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face
    • Experience with embeddings and vector similarity search

    Nice to have

    • Knowledge of SEO principles and how they translate to AI optimisation
    • Understanding of structured data formats: JSON-LD, Schema.org, RDF
    • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure
    • Familiarity with web scraping and data pipeline tools
